Guests and visitors:
Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora. We are glad you are here.
Please Note: During the summer, there is one service at 10am. The Well Cafe service at 9am and coffee hour following the 11am service resumes in October.
First Time Guests We warmly welcome you to come and worship with us or join us for any of our other activities. Where is the Church Located?  We are at 222 W. Sixth Avenue in downtown Mount Dora, Florida 32757. This is between Alexander and McDonald streets on Sixth Avenue; one block east of Donnelly and one block north of Fifth in the heart of town. Where do I Park? We have two parking lots: one immediately adjacent to the Fellowship Hall and a larger one immediately across the street. Handicap parking is available in both locations.  Access to both lots is from Sixth Avenue. There is ample street parking also except during certain city events. Where and When are Worship Services held?   The 9 a.m. Worship Service, called The Well takes place in our Fellowship Hall.  This casual, family friendly service is more informal with Praise Songs projected on large screens and worshippers seated at round tables.  A light breakfast is provided! The 11a.m. Worship Service is more traditional and formal and takes place in our beautiful colonial style Sanctuary.  Worshippers seated in pews sing hymns out of the hymnal and enjoy our wonderful organ and choir.  Following worship there is a coffee hour in the Fellowship Hall.  What should I wear?  You will see a variety of dress in worship.  Dress tends to be more informal during the casual 9 a.m. Service The Well.  Some men wear coats and-or-ties but most wear open collar.  At the more formal 11 a.m. Service in the Sanctuary, there are more coats and-or-ties, especially in the winter, but many prefer open collar.  All are welcome!  What if I have Special Needs? Our entire campus is wheelchair accessible, with many modern handicap accessible bathrooms throughout.  There are special needs reserved parking spots and an elevator to the lower level.  Hearing aids and large print hymnals are available in the Sanctuary.  What About Children? We welcome you and your children. A nursery is provided during both worship services.  The nursery is downstairs below the Sanctuary.
Questions?  There is a Concierge Desk in the middle of our building, just inside the circular driveway.  Stop by for more information, answers to questions and for a gift.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
