The Reverend Dr. Brenda Loyal has served as a Presbyterian Church (USA) pastor, head of staff, transitional minister, and chaplain since her ordination in 1992. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Indiana University-Bloomington, a Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a PhD in Organization and Management with an emphasis in Leadership from Capella University, Minneapolis, MN.
Dr. Loyal is an author, public speaker, certified spiritual director, leadership and life coach and consultant and has served as Director of Marketing and Public Affairs for Catholic Charities of Central Florida, Director of Public Relations and professor for Belhaven University, and Performance Improvement Director for Maritz Performance Improvement Company.
Her husband, Michael Loyal, PhD, is an author, professor and health industry consultant with Loyal Solutions Group. They have three grown children. Their oldest son is an attorney in Philadelphia, PA, their younger son works in hospitality and lives near Nashville, TN. Their daughter is a nurse practitioner, and their son-in-law is an electrical engineer. Brenda and Michael have two granddaughters and are thrilled that they live only two miles away.
Brenda enjoys running (having completed 5 marathons and 6 half marathons), visiting Walt Disney World, travel, music, theatre, and spending time with family, including their two dogs, Joy Noelle and Molly Macallan.
